DecA tid-bit of history
When you work for others – your projects seem to go undone, right? Well after a year of waiting, we finally have our website up and running! We put up a small site after our name change…added an occasional bandaid to it and let it go all year but the wait is over.
2009 brought a lot of changes for us. iCreative has grown considerably over the past 7 years and we’d like to give a huge THANKS to all of our clients that have made our growth possible. We have clients that started with us back in 2002 that are still with us, as well as around 580 more that have joined us in the following years.
When I started this business back in 2002, I never realized how big it would get! We all wish for it but making it happen….well that’s another story. It all started when I was pregnant with my first child, Logan, who is now 6 1/2 years old. I was working as a plant manager in a Tool & Die Manufacturing corporation, a family business that my father started when I was a wee little one. I grew up in that business which gave me much of the knowledge and training for owning my own. When the doctor put me on bed rest at 7 months of pregnancy, I was confined to my room with my faithful laptop and that’s where it all began!
In 2003 my projects began rolling in and Alex joined me in a quest to bring great artwork and design to the work-at-home world. Dragos joined us a short while afterwards to speed up the coding process. He has become my “right-hand-man”, working around the clock for our growing business. After banging our heads against the wall over all of the PHP coding, we knew it was time to add someone that knew PHP as their second language (sometimes I think it’s his first language) and along came Lokesh. The four of us work very well together and are much like a family after all of the years.
So there you have it – our first post in our blog and a little history on how it all began.
