Getting out of the rut…

From time to time we all get stuck in a rut, whether that be with our personal life or work.  I tend to find myself getting in design ruts that are hard to get out of.  What I’ve found to be my best relief from the “rut” is to just leave the office for an hour or so to re-group.  When time doesn’t permit that I try to dig up one of my old videos to listen to in the background of my work.  One person I turn to a lot for this is someone I quite admire, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple.  The brilliant mind behind the MAC.  (I’ll refrain from telling everyone with Windows to revert to MACs right this instant if you know what’s best for you.)

Anyhow, here’s one I like a lot from 2005 Stanford University.  Steve tells a few stories about his life in this one and I can relate to them well.  Just put it in your background and listen to it…not much to “see” in the video.
